Match the vehicle to your trip rather than your wish list and you will keep costs sensible.

Step 2: Gather your documents

The documents you need depend on whether you are a resident or a visitor.

If you are a UAE resident

• Valid UAE driving licence
• Emirates ID
• A credit card in your name for the deposit

If you are a tourist

• Your original home-country driving licence
• An International Driving Permit (recommended for most nationalities)
• Passport with a valid visit visa or entry stamp
• A credit card for the security hold

Step 3: Understand the agreement
